A past International Coordinator of ICDF, Lucy still currently serves on the ICDF Steering Committee and for several years has been Interim Contact Person for ICDF Australia. She intercedes for the ministry in the Oceania region and develops dance-movement workshops as opportunities arise. Most recently on the local Australian scene, she co-pioneered The New Thing (TNT): activate the arts to create and heal, a monthly creative arts gathering,
encouraging dancers and other artists to explore and enjoy their calling to participate in God’s love-mission for the entire creation.
She has wide experience in paid and voluntary work for faith-based organisations, serving in various administrative, education, facilitation and consultation capacities
Combining years of work alongside the Australian Aboriginal community and Prayer Watch trips to Israel, Lucy writes poetry and creates performance works which champion peace-building, the empowerment of women, and the role of the arts in equipping “the Church” through the Ascension giftings as a pathway to unity, maturity, personal and community transformation. Hence, when in her care, Diploma students will experience a broadening of perspective, a deeper understanding of dance ministry and never miss an opportunity for a good laugh!
