The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry is an online course, provided as part of the International Christian Dance Fellowship's (ICDF) vision to see all Christian dancers equipped and supported in their calling or vocation.  This applied course includes practical work undertaken locally wherever the student is living.

ICDF DIPLOMA IN DANCE MINISTRY

An ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry is issued on satisfactory completion of 25 credits of the ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry Course.

The 25 credits of the ICDF Diploma course can be completed in a minimum of two years

and a maximum of seven years. 

OPTION 1: 2 year course consisting 6 course papers per year / 2 course papers per trimester [approx. 12hrs per week]

= 25 Credits

OPTION 2: 4 year course consisting 3 course papers per year / 1 course paper per trimester [approx. 6hrs per week]

= 25 Credits

On completion of this course, students will receive an ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry.

ICDF CERTIFICATE IN DANCE MINISTRY

An ICDF Certificate in Dance Ministry is available on satisfactory completion of 15 credits of the ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry Course.

OPTION 1: 1 year course consisting 6 course papers per year  / 2 course papers per trimester [approx. 12hrs per week]

= 15 Credits

OPTION 2: 2 year course consisting 3 course papers per year / 1 course paper per trimester [approx. 6hrs per week]

= 15 Credits

On completion of this course, students will receive an ICDF Certificate in Dance Ministry.

ICDF DIPLOMA INTRODUCTORY COURSE

The ICDF Diploma Introductory Course [6 weeks] consists of six modules of one week of study per module covering dance in the Bible, a lifestyle of worship, praise dance equipment, leading congregations and Christian dance groups and arts in ministry and outreach.  This program is designed to provide an introduction to the ICDF Diploma Course for those preparing to return to full time study.  On completion of this course students will receive an ICDF Diploma Introductory Course Certificate of Completion.

ICDF DIPLOMA FREE TASTER 

The ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry offers a free-of-charge One Week Taster course covering a portion of a paper in the ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry program.  This is to give potential students a taste of what the course involves and to  help them to decide whether to enroll in the Certificate or full Diploma Course. FREE Taster course includes tutor guidance and feedback!

COURSE TRIMESTERS

There are 3 trimesters a year, starting in February, May and September. However, students can begin at the start of any trimester, with one or more subjects. Trimesters are 12 weeks long.​

ICDF DIPLOMA POST GRADUATE COURSE: Masterclass in Cultural Leadership

In partnership with Masterclass Director Sir Leen La Rivière:

The Masterclass in Cultural Leadership is the overview of all major breakthroughs (artistic, organizational, religious, social) in Sir Leen La Rivière's more than 50 years of professional practice. This masterclass unlocks immense possibilities to be effective through the arts for the Kingdom of God. It is the lifetime achievement of Leen La Rivière, pioneer, innovator, organizer, author, speaker, coach. He has founded several European Ministries and was knighted by the Queen of the Netherlands in 1999 for his contributions to the world of arts and culture.  Sir Leen and his wife Ria are members of the Board of Advisors for the  International Christian Dance Fellowship [ICDF].

COST:

A small application fee is charged and then reimbursed once a student completes the final mini thesis.

*We welcome Masterclass Graduates who wish to undertake further study in the area of Dance Ministry and who present evidence of having completed the Masterclass.

*All Masterclass graduates will automatically receive up to 5 credits towards the ICDF Diploma in Dance Ministry.​​​

e.g. 2 credits/trimester = AUD $240.00 

The fees for each trimester are calculated on a subject-by-subject basis according to the number of credits.​
